Many people grow up around church, hearing sermons, singing songs, and attending services every week — but never truly develop a real relationship with God.

In this message, I share my personal testimony of what it was like growing up in church culture, experiencing traditions, expectations, and pressures, while still searching for what it really means to know God for myself.

This message explores the difference between:

• Being raised in church
• Following religious routines
• Experiencing church traditions
• And truly knowing God through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ

There is a powerful difference between religion and relationship, and many people today are discovering that growing up around church does not automatically mean we truly know God.
